Exportation
Our Christmas trees will meet standard designated by the United States Department of Agriculture and Washington State Department of Agriculture for insect and disease tolerance levels, as well as importing countries standards prior to shipping. Our Christmas trees are inspected by the USDA and WSDA prior to harvest to insure that these requirements have been met.
Trees loads may be inspected at importing countries inspection stations by importing countries authorities, the loads may also be inspected by city authorities as well, to insure no pest or disease is present in any loads.
Starting in the month of April an extensive spray program was implemented for Douglas Fir Needle Midge, Douglas Fir Twig Weevil, Pine Needle Scale, Black Pine leaf Scale, White Pine Weevil and Pine Tip Moth. We expect the tolerance levels for these pests may go to zero. We will guarantee that our trees will not be rejected by importing countries authorities. We will keep in close contact with our authorities so that we will meet all export/import requirements.
We request you make every effort to see the trees you would like to purchase. We request a down payment 20% at the time of confirmation. Total payment of trees is due prior to shipping. Depending on tree size we expect between 600 to 700 trees per 53’ van.
Our prices are freight on Board. Price includes handling, harvesting and loading. Price does not include shipping. We will arrange shipping; freight payment will be due on arrival of shipment.
